MUST READ

Starting today, I will be updating this blog regarding the NBA TV Top Ten Plays and NBA Highlights. Since I find it hard to think on what particular sport to post in this blog and since basketball is one of the famous sports all over the world, and of which I am familiar with, I assure you that updates will be posted in this blog regularly. But of course, other sports will be featured also.

I FIND GOLF BORING

Golf is one of the famous sports at present. If you mention the name Tiger Woods it means golf. There have been so many golf tournaments that have been conducted for quite some time either locally or abroad. Even in our own city mayor’s cup has been very famous.

Honestly, I find golf boring. While watching television, I and my father came across a golf tournament. He explained to me the rules of the game. I just listened to him and I am quite amused on how he really enjoined explaining to me all about the game. Well, for one, my father was the champion of a golf tournament he once joined. That is the reason why he seemed so happy explaining the rules of the game. I honestly told him that I find the game boring. He told me that for now that will be my comment but when the time comes when I will learn how to play the game I will surely love it. He told me that he will teach me how to play the game. My reaction was just plain. Neither did I say I am interested to learn nor I close my doors in learning to play golf. Let’s just see in the future.

I believe the interest will just come. For now, I still believe that golf is boring, lol. But of course I respect those who play the game.

AWAITING MANNY “PACMAN” PACQUIAO’S BOXING BOUT

In the Philippines no one would ever dare to ignore Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s fight. Tomorrow is the date set for Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight. Of course, as Filipinos we long for Pacquiao to win the game. He has proven his expertise in the field of boxing. We have seen him fight before and we expect even more from him tomorrow. Personally for Pacquiao’s benefit I suggest he would end the game as soon as possible. I hope he will knock out Marquez. On the other hand, for the viewers’ sake, they would love to watch the game longer wondering what will happen and who will win the game. It will even be more exciting to watch.

But what I want to emphasize more in this topic is how Pacquiao’s fight affects the Philippines crime rate. Would you believe that in the span of time that Pacquiao’s fight is set the Philippines has the lowest crime rate ever? This is based on interviews of police officials concerned based on the previous fights Pacquiao had. This is actually good to hear. It shows how the Filipinos are very interested in Pacquias’s fight and how supportive they were. The Philippines is considered peaceful in those times that Pacquiao had his previous boxing bouts. The statistics is undeniable. In a way Pacquiao helped the government in minimizing commission of crimes. Some policemen would even advice to let Pacquiao fight all over again to maintain low crime rates. But of course, we all know that this is impossible. It is enough that Pacquiao in a way made the Filipinos unite even in just few hours. And he never failed to achieve the satisfaction his countrymen is seeking from all his games.

More power to Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao!
