MUST READ
Starting today, I will be updating this blog regarding the NBA TV Top Ten Plays and NBA Highlights.
Since I find it hard to think on what particular sport to post in this blog and since basketball is one of the famous sports all over the world, and of which I am familiar with, I assure you that updates will be posted in this blog regularly.
But of course, other sports will be featured also.
Maria, Maria, Maria Sharapova!!!
While I am busy making blogs about sports other than tennis, I realized why should I not post something about tennis. I forgot about lawn tennis to think that this our family's sport.
Anyway, in the new world of tennisters, I would say I like Maria Sharapova. She started to play the sport when she was just sixteen or younger and made it to be the world number one when she was only nineteen. Aside from that, I really like the way she brings herself out. I mean she is not only an athlete but also you can see the feminine side of her. I think it was when Sharapova started to be famous that tennis outfits for women had changed. It has became more feminine than ever which it must be. She also started the trend of wearing jewelry while playing. Well, I kinda dont agree with that. It seemed inappropriate for tennis players to wear different kind of jewelry while playing. As for me, I dont really use a watch when I am playing but I wear bracelet but only one and I dont wear gold bracelet. In my opinion it doesnt suit when a woman is wearing all these jewelry in her. But I guess, its different now, for that's what makes Sharapova different and I guess most tennisters immitate her. Well, I couldnt blame her, for she really looks beautiful in the court. She really is the one which pictures out what they say as "the beauty in the court."
And now I got this news from the internet that Maria Sharapova is sporting a new hairdo, which she called a "tailored chique look," and when she steps on court for her opening match at the Acura Classic in San Diego on Wednesday, she will in her words, have the "shortest ponytail ever."
I really couldnt wait to find out her new style, lol.

Philippine 9-ball Open
The Philippine 9-ball open started the game with Efren Bata Reyes. Of course as expected Efren "bata" Reyes won the game with a score of 9-5. The game of billiard has been so famous in the Philippines since Efren "bata" Reyes became famous also. Even children of young ages admired this icon. Although a lot of Filipinos nowadays have started to make a name in the world of billiards but still no one will ever forget Efren "bata" Reyes who started it all for the Filipinos. Who doesnt know Efren "bata" Reyes?
Well, as they say, the ball is rolling. We will not know who will win this time in the Philippine 9-ball open. It has been Bustamante who won the game for the past two years. I really hope this time that Efren "bata" Reyes will win the game. This is his chance to win and prove his capacity even at an older age for his fellow Filipinos who has admired him for a very long time.
Goodluck Efren "bata" Reyes!

FIBA - USA vs. VENEZUELA
I havent realized that FIBA has started already. If I havent seen the game yesterday between USA and Venezuela, I wouldnt know for a fact that the game has just begun. Well, you may have been thinking why I am so affected about it, that is because I wanted to see the game from the very start. I wanted to see if USA would win this time. They lost this tournament for the past two seasons. I wonder if they will get the trophy this time.
Yesterday was a nice game for the team USA. They defeated Venezuela for a disparity of almost 50 points. That's really the best way to start the game. The action is so hilarious. You can see Lebron James flying high and most especially the change of Kobe Bryant's style of playing.
One of the reasons though why I wanted to watch FIBA is because of Kobe Bryant. I would not deny the fact that I am a fun of Kobe Bryant. It is true that Kobe may be said to be so arrogant at times. That is maybe because he is just so confident in how he plays basketball. Despite that, I still admire him because of how he plays the game. Like in FIBA yesterday. Kobe did the best shots especially those that could have been impossible to do. He also shares the ball and checks among his playmates who is free and able to shoot the ball. That was I guess an improvement in Kobe's game. I hope that if he plays in NBA for the next season, he will do the same thing.

LOVING SPORTS!!!
I have grown to love sports a lot.
I was eleven years old when I learned to play lawn tennis. Similarly, my brothers and sisters started to play the sport also at about that age or younger. Lawn tennis has been the sport of my mother's family. They are known to be "palaro players" here in our country. Unfortunately, I did not reach that stage in my sports life but one of my brothers and one of my sisters reached that stage already. But I have no regrets for I have experienced already joining tournaments and all. The feeling was all in all fun but at the same time nervous. Being a sport fun is something I am proud of. Not all have the talent to play different sort of sports but in our famiy we do play not just lawn tennis but some other sports. I think it runs in the blood, lol.
This blog is an expression of how I love sports!
